Navigating the 2025/26 run-in with fixture difficulty

With GW36–38 left in the 2025/26 season, every transfer decision counts. The final stretch is where FPL ranks are made and lost — and fixture difficulty is one of the clearest signals available for deciding who to back.

Set the slider to the run-in

Open the fixture table and drag the gameweek range to cover GW36–38. Sort by Score (ascending) to immediately see which teams have the easiest remaining schedule. Those are your premium targets for captaincy and last-minute differentials.

Watch for blanks

FA Cup commitments can leave teams without a fixture in the final weeks. A blank gameweek shows as a dash (—) in the table and contributes nothing to the Score total — so a low Score from a team with a blank is misleading. Always check the cells, not just the number.

Captaincy in the last three

With no free transfers to save, captaincy is your biggest remaining lever. Use the table to find a premium forward or midfielder from a team with two home fixtures in GW36–38 — ideally with a difficulty of 2 or lower for both. Click the team row to see their top points scorers and check prices before committing.

Good luck for the run-in.
